Our striking program is led by Coach Michael, an experienced martial artist who has trained alongside world-class athletes and professional fighters. Having developed his striking at Tristar Gym and H2O MMA, he has trained with high-level competitors from major promotions such as the UFC and Professional Fighters League. He is also brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Glen Mackenzie. His coaching blends elite-level techniques with a structured teaching style that makes striking accessible for beginners while still challenging for experienced martial artists. Whether your goal is fitness, self-defense, or competition, Coach Michael creates a training environment that pushes students to improve while building confidence and skill.

While it's not necessary to buy a gi immediately, it's recommended to invest in one as you progress in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We have Gis that can be borrowed by beginners, but owning a gi is beneficial for training.
